I started writing about events from my childhood that happened while living in Kentucky. A few were published which was exciting. I met and married my husband while I lived in Kentucky, then we moved to Massachusetts for my husband to attend graduate school. After he finished, we moved to New Hampshire where we stayed until 1974. That's when we moved to Ohio. I went back to writing soon after my father died. Writing seemed to be a way for me to think about something other than my sadness over losing my father. I decided I would try writing fiction. It took me 24 years but I finally finished my first novel, They Call Me Tess during the pandemic! Now I am getting ready to start the sequel. I will of course not spend 25 years writing this one! I will let my readers know when that is completed. In the meantime I hope to share about my life and my personal spiritual journey.
