Opportunities writing Tess gave me.

Many years before I started my book, I wrote about experiences from my earlier life. I have been published three times, and what a joy it’s been.  Two came from my childhood, and one of a memory about my great grandparents’ old homestead. These stories were personal experiences.  When I decided to write fiction, I had to use my imagination. In the process of editing my book, which took months, I started to see bits and pieces of my own life in my writing.  I’ve always been on the quiet side sharing my true feelings about Christianity.  The major beliefs of my faith were easy to share.  Having lived my early life with a father as a minister, and then marrying a minister, my life was filled with anxiety. Writing my story about Tess gave me the opportunity to write about feelings I’d never shared before.  In the coming blogs I want to share where I’ve been and where I am today on my spiritual journey.
