Exciting news!

I’m excited to share the news about a special program I’ve developed to introduce Tess. I’m taking my experience as a living history performer, and using it to introduce Tess. I did a program at the Chesterville, Ohio town hall a few weeks ago. It was a success! Those that were there told me they enjoyed it and said I was an excellent story teller. That made me want to do more programs.

I was Tess up until she was ready to tell who she really was, then I stopped. I want to sell my book so that’s why I didn’t go further in my story. I also found out yesterday, google has put my latest blog on their page about me. If you google Darlene J Gage you’ll see it plus all kinds of information about me. I don’t know how that all works, but it sure will help me get people to read my blog. In case you don’t know, I have a living history Facebook page, a living history website, and a video on YouTube of me being Tess.

I’m writing my sequel to They Call Me Tess and it’s going very slow. I have my story lines, but I get distracted easily. It doesn’t help my desk is in my living area. There isn’t another area for my desk that isn’t being used for other purposes. If anyone has suggestions on how to solve this problem please contact me by responding to this blog. Tell your family and friends about this news. I’m hoping to get more programs for my book. For those who live in Waynesville or near Waynesville, I will be selling and signing my book at the Waynesville library September the 28th. Until next time, have a great day!
