story plots for my book

When I started writing my book, I had to come up with some story plots. I was told many years ago to write what you know. My characters became a minister and his wife. What did I want them to be like, and what did I want them to do? Then I came up with my favorite character Tess.  She just evolved over many months and years. I wanted her to be rough around the edges and not a believer in Christianity.  My story changed numerous times, but each time it did, it gave me opportunities to look into my own spiritual journey. Who I was when I started writing my story, is not who I am today? Creating Tess challenged me to write about the love of God for even the non-believer.

  1. I have found your book to be amazing in the way it has challenged me to question my beliefs and how I feel. I love all the characters, especially Tess. I had to put it down for a bit bcuz I have been so busy, but I’m almost finished with it. I look forward to reading anything else you might come out with.

    • Thanks Kelli. I am so happy many of my readers are thinking about their own relationship with God. If my story helps one person evaluate their own spiritual journey I will be happy.
